He also had a successful solo career, primarily on radio and television, most notably as the host of the game show <em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/You_Bet_Your_Life\">You Bet Your Life<\/a><\/em>.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Groucho_Marx#cite_note-obit-1\">[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His distinctive appearance, carried over from his days in vaudeville, included quirks such as an exaggerated stooped posture, spectacles, cigar, and a thick <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Foundation_(cosmetics)\">greasepaint<\/a> mustache (later a real mustache) and eyebrows.
